Terms of Use & Subscription Terms

01 Parties and Scope

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are concluded between Lightning Software ("CanlıDostum", "we") and the natural person using the app or the website ("User", "you"). By using the service you declare that you have read and accepted these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

If you are under 16 years of age, you may use the app only under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

With respect to the premium subscription, these Terms constitute a distance contract within the meaning of Turkish Consumer Protection Law No. 6502 and the Regulation on Distance Contracts. The purchase is completed through Google Play.

02 Service Description

CanlıDostum is a mobile app offering the following features for your pets:

• Play, walk and activity tracking
• Digital health record (medication, vaccinations, weight, vet appointments)
• Multiple pet profiles and a badge / goal system
• PatiBot AI care assistant

The service has free and paid (Premium) features. Features may be developed, changed or removed over time.

03 Account and Membership

• To use the app you must create an account with your email or by using Sign in with Google.
• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity carried out under your account.
• You agree that the information you provide is accurate and up to date.
• You may delete your account at any time by following the steps on the Account and Data Deletion page.

04 User Obligations

When using the service, you agree not to:

• Use it in a way that violates the law, public order or public morals
• Upload content that infringes the rights of others or causes harm
• Compromise the security of the app, reverse engineer it or gain unauthorised access
• Overload the service or harvest data using automated systems (bots)

05 Premium Subscription

CanlıDostum Premium is an optional subscription that unlocks additional features. The core features of the app (health, nutrition, activity tracking and reminders) remain fully usable in the free version. Premium includes:

• Ad-free use (the free version shows interstitial and rewarded ads)
• An increased daily PatiBot AI question allowance (from 5 to 30 questions per day)
• Premium status badges (golden avatar ring, golden profile card and the "Premium Supporter" badge)

Premium is offered at ₺57.99 per month or USD 10 per year, and both plans include a one-month free trial. Prices may vary by country according to Google Play's local pricing; the amount that applies is the one you confirm on the Google Play screen at the time of purchase. Taxes are applied according to the laws of your country.

06 Fees, Renewal and Cancellation

All Premium purchases are made through Google Play using Google Play's payment infrastructure (Play Billing). Therefore:

• Fees are clearly displayed in the app and on the Google Play page before purchase.
• Renewal: The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time via Google Play → Profile → Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period.
• Refunds: Refunds are subject to the Google Play refund policy. Refunds cannot be issued directly through the app; requests must be submitted via Google Play.
• Deleting the app does not automatically cancel your subscription; you must cancel it separately through Google Play.
• Unless stated otherwise, taxes are calculated by Google Play according to the laws of your country and shown on the purchase screen.

Right of Withdrawal

Premium is a digital service performed immediately in electronic form. By starting the subscription you expressly consent to immediate performance of the service. Pursuant to Law No. 6502 and the Regulation on Distance Contracts, the 14-day right of withdrawal ends once performance of the service has begun. Nevertheless, you can cancel your subscription at any time through Google Play to stop being charged for subsequent periods. Refund requests are subject to the Google Play refund policy of the store where the sale took place.

07 Using PatiBot AI

PatiBot is an informational assistant powered by third-party artificial intelligence infrastructure (Google Gemini). When using PatiBot:

• Its suggestions are for general information purposes; they are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete or correct for your specific situation.
• Do not rely on PatiBot in emergencies or for health decisions; consult a veterinarian.
• Messages you share with PatiBot are processed in order to generate a response. See the Privacy Policy for details.

09 Intellectual Property

The design, logo, software, texts and trademark of the app belong to CanlıDostum and are protected by copyright and trademark law. Content you upload (photos, records) belongs to you; by using the service you grant us permission to process it in order to provide the service. Copying, distributing or creating derivative works without permission is prohibited.

10 Limitation of Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CanlıDostum does not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free and cannot be held liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages. This clause does not limit the statutory rights of consumers.

11 Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms. You may also end your membership at any time by deleting your account. After termination, certain data may be retained where required by legal obligations.

12 Governing Law and Contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The courts and enforcement offices of the Republic of Türkiye have jurisdiction over disputes. For consumer transactions, the consumer arbitration committees and courts at the consumer's place of residence have jurisdiction.

This document is for information purposes and may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the app or by email.
