Who we are

CanlıDostum is developed in Türkiye by Lightning Software. The app is available on Google Play in English and Turkish.

Our goal is simple: you shouldn't have to remember vaccine dates, medication times or vet appointments in your head. Everything about your pet's care, organised and easy to understand, in one place.

What we do

How we prepare our content

Accuracy matters most when it comes to health. We follow these principles for our guides, breed pages and tools:

  • Trusted sources: We base our information on international veterinary sources: the WSAVA vaccination guidelines (2024), the AVMA, the Merck Veterinary Manual and AAHA/AAFP life-stage guidelines. Breed information follows FCI and AKC breed standards.
  • Standard formulas: Our calculators use methods common in veterinary nutrition (for example resting energy requirement: 70 × body weight in kg0.75). Each tool explains its method on the page.
  • Dates and updates: Every article shows its publication date, and we update content when guidelines change.
  • Veterinary review: We are in the process of having our health content reviewed by a veterinarian. Reviewed pages will show the reviewer's name and review date.
  • No sponsored content: Articles on this site are not paid for, and we don't write content to promote brands or products.
⚠️CanlıDostum and the content on this site are for general information only and do not replace an examination, diagnosis or treatment by a veterinarian. In an emergency (poisoning, difficulty breathing, collapse, bleeding), contact your nearest vet clinic immediately.

How the app is funded
