Frequently asked questions
Turkish Angora vs Turkish Van: what's the difference?
Both are Turkish breeds. The Angora is slender and elegant; the Van is larger and more muscular, usually with coloured markings on the head and tail.
Do Turkish Angoras shed?
Little undercoat means few mats; shedding increases with the seasons. Brushing 1–2 times a week is enough.
Are blue-eyed white Angoras deaf?
The risk of congenital deafness is higher in blue-eyed white cats, but not all are deaf. A vet can check hearing simply.
